Going for charity gold!

Our Managing Director, Dorian Gonsalves said: “I am incredibly proud of the achievements of our franchise owners for taking time out of their busy schedules to raise money for local and national charities.”

From Belvoir Northwich and Congleton’s annual golf day that raised over £3,300, to Belvoir Telford’s 1000 mile challenge that is firmly on track to total £5000, and not forgetting Belvoir Warrington’s gruelling London Marathon and London to Paris bike ride that raised over £3,000, our network has certainly been busy this year helping to raise that all important cash to fund worthwhile causes.

We’ve seen some fantastic charitable action across the network, whether it is simply gathering some friends for a coffee morning or dressing up for a sponsored run, the Belvoir franchise owners never fail to amaze with their efforts. Whilst we have already raised a huge amount of money, we know we can give it one final push which is why we’re launching ‘Time to Give’ – next month we’re challenging the whole Belvoir network, including Central Office to raise as much as possible for causes either close to their hearts, or local communities.

Last year we turned 20 and raised a staggering £20,000 for charities around the UK and this year we aim to beat that to support even more worthy causes. Dorian confirmed “The team at Belvoir’s Central Office will also be doing their bit by taking part in a “Tour de Belvoir” challenge, using gym equipment to row, cycle, or run over 750 miles, which is the distance from Belvoir’s Plymouth office in the south, to our Belvoir Orkney office, which is the furthest north!”
