With Right Move and Zoopla claiming they get their highest number of visitors over the festive period, December could be the best time to put your property on the market for sales and lettings.
Be left in peace and quiet over the festive period whilst your agent drums up interest in your property.

As the festive season approaches, many people will be contemplating moving to a new home in 2015. The traditional school of thought is to launch your property in the New Year but this train of thought may not be the best way to go.

Having met up with Right Move and spoken to Zoopla, it is apparent that their busiest time of year is during the Christmas holidays. Whilst you may think the rest of the country is spending time with friends and family, the reality is they are thinking of a new life and home for the new year.

However, you may be on holiday or entertaining and just want to enjoy your well earned rest from work without being disturbed by viewings. We all know it can be hard to keep your home presented like a show home when entertaining. So, why not tell your agent "Do Not Disturb"? They can collect all the enquiries over the holiday period, book the viewings in ready for Saturday 3rd January and get your new year off to a flying start. Those that wait until January might find they missed the chance of getting the best price from the best buyer.
