Buy To Let Property Review: Two Bed Flat, Hawthorne Crescent, West Drayton

On the market is this two bedroom flat in Hawthorne Crescent in walking distance from West Drayton station (Crossrail from 2019).  There is a quiet rear entrance to the station down Warwick Road which people living in Hawthorne, Holly Gardens, Kingston Lane and Admiralty Close can access quite nicely.  Non of your dark alleyways just nice and open walk ways which cars can’t access without taking the long way round on Station Road.  So it’s 5 to 10 minutes walk from the station.

Prices are going up in West Drayton.  I came across this one in December which was offered at about £200,000 and now six months later this one is priced at £257,500.  Much nicer condition from the pictures, but reflects the demand that West Drayton and Hillingdon is seeing.

If you can achieve £1,200pcm the yield on the asking price is 5.4%.  A reasonable return.
