Buy To Let Property Review: One Bed Flat, Curran Close, Cowley

Curran Close is a nice quiet part of Cowley. The cul-de-sac is just off Iver Lane, walking distance of Brunel and close to High Street Cowley with it's excellent bus routes. It's not quite walking distance from a tube station although there is a good bus service to West Drayton and Uxbridge. Curran Close is nice and close to the Grand Union Canal and the Fray's River.

For car owning tenants the property has allocated parking which is useful on Curran.  

The property is a one bed first floor maisonette and is on the market at £190,000.   Let at £850pcm the gross yield would be 5.4%.  Although rents are starting to move beyond the £850pcm figure....

If you can time the tenancies correctly (which is not always possible) being close to Brunel the property will let especially well late August and September time.  Although the attractions of this property are by no means limited to students!
