Flats in Bracknell Beat Wokingham Flats by 96%!!

I know. I couldn't believe it either but the stats show that flats in Bracknell have outperformed...

I know. I couldn't believe it either but the stats show that flats in Bracknell have outperformed their neighbours in Wokingham by 96% between 1995 and 2015.

As you can see from the tables below an average flat in Wokingham has increased by 250% in the last 20 years. However Bracknell flats have had steroid busting growth of 346%. This compares with the Berkshire average of 306%.

Put that against returns of 89% from the FTSE 100 over the same period and it looks even more spectacular.

We have all heard of the phrase 'lies, damned lies and statistics' and i think these stats are misleading. If you look at the tables, the price difference between flats in Bracknell and Wokingham in 1995 was just under £20k, yet 20 years later the price difference is still only just under £25k.

Statistics can be misleading but however you look at it they are impressive returns and that is without taking into account any rent an investor may have received.
