Belvoir Congleton Meets Royalty

Belvoir Congleton got to meet Prince Charles

On Wednesday 24th January 2018 Congleton town centre was lucky enough to have royal visitors.  HRH The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall paid a visit to the town.  One of the things they had come to see was a statue of "Treo" on Lawton Street - Treo was a black Labrador Retriever-English Springer Spaniel crossbreed and a retired Arms and Explosives Search dog with the Royal Army Veterinary Corps. He was awarded the Dickin Medal in February 2010.

What's more, both Ann & James got to met Prince Charles in person and shake hands.

It is absolutely great for the town of Congleton and will put it back on the map!
