We like to think we are always there to call upon if you as a landlord need buy-to-let advice on a certain property or area, we can look into the facts and use our experience to guide you to the right choice for you.

A have had a look into the facts for Alfreton and DE55 as a whole to give you some knowledge of the activity recently in the area.

Investors look for properties with strong yields that are prime for rental, which is generally semi-detached, terraced properties and flats. With average prices of; £112k, £88k and £77k they all fall under the stamp duty threshold and compare well to surrounding areas.

Compared to nationally, in the DE55 area there are 41.64% more semi-detached, 13.4% less terraced and a whopping 96.89% less flats in this area meaning there will be demand for the rental properties due to lack of availability.

Over the last 5 years there has been 3,108 property sales amounting to 13% of the available stock. Over that time prices have increased by just over 8% and are around 1.5% up this year with the average property price currently on the market standing at £162,983 (388 properties).
