Belvoir Portsmouth celebrate 15 years with a new family recruit

Paul and Anne Cartwright, owners of Belvoir Portsmouth recently celebrated 15 years with the company by inviting their 28-year-old daughter Samantha Bateman to join them as a joint franchise owner.

“Anne and I are absolutely delighted that our daughter Samantha has agreed to join the business as a franchise owner, “says Paul. “We recently renewed our licence with Belvoir for a further five years and would now like to concentrate on growing the business, possibly through an acquisition. Samantha has worked at our offices in Southsea and Waterlooville for several years and we felt that the time was right for her to take on the day to day running of the offices, as she does a fantastic job.”

New franchise owner Samantha Bateman says: “I was delighted when mum and dad asked me to become a Belvoir franchise owner and agreed immediately. I have worked at Belvoir Portsmouth for nine years and absolutely love it.

“The 15 year-anniversary of the business seemed like the perfect time for me to become a joint franchise owner. Belvoir Portsmouth has just gone through a very busy period as the student market is very strong and we have a lot of student lets on the books, as well as residential ones. In addition we have launched several new marketing initiatives to try and increase our market share in the area.

“This is a very exciting period for Belvoir Portsmouth. I love coming in to work every day and dealing with different people and meeting new tenants and landlords – it’s great! We pride ourselves on offering outstanding customer service and we are looking forward to planning a 15 year celebration.”

Paul Cartwright joined Belvoir after a 25-year career in the navy. Successful Belvoir franchise owners come from all backgrounds and walks of life. Enquiries are welcome from individuals and partnerships, as well as husband and wife and son and daughter teams.
